These terms govern your use of filingsmap.com (the “site”), which is run by the FilingsMap team (“FilingsMap”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What these terms cover
These terms cover the public website only. Access to the FilingsMap product, including its data, API, CSV exports and MCP server, is provided under a separate written agreement. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins.
Information on the site
The site describes FilingsMap and shows sample outputs based on public regulatory filings. That material is provided for general information only. It is not investment, legal, accounting or tax advice, and you shouldn’t rely on it as a substitute for reading the underlying filing or taking professional advice.
Content marked as sample data or illustrative is there to show how FilingsMap works. It may not describe a real company or reproduce any actual filing.
We work to keep the site accurate, but we don’t promise that everything on it is complete, current or error-free. Product descriptions reflect what we offer at the time of writing and may change.
Acceptable use
When using the site, you agree not to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone else’s rights;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it, or interfere with how they work;
- scrape, crawl or copy the site at a volume or rate that puts an unreasonable load on it;
- introduce malware or any other harmful code.
Intellectual property
The site’s design, text, graphics, logos and code belong to us or our licensors. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not otherwise copy, modify or republish it without our written permission. Excerpts of public filings shown on the site remain subject to any rights their original publishers hold.
Links to other sites
The site may link to third-party websites, such as the regulators that publish the filings we reference. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue or data, that arises from your use of the site or your inability to use it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
General
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we don’t enforce any part of these terms, that doesn’t waive our right to enforce it later. Nothing in these terms affects any rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
